Heart+Colors+Rush = Herzfarbenrausch, or Enas to anyone addressing him by first name. Tallinn Bearty is happy to have him onboard 2025 edition. See here what he has to tell about himself.
My name is Enas Jusufov, born on February 26, 1981, in southern Germany’s Allgäu region, and I am the artist behind the name Herzfarbenrausch. This name represents everything my art stands for: "Heart" – the passion and sincerity I pour into every creation, "Colors" – the vibrancy and diversity that make life brighter, and "Rush" – the feeling of meditation and devotion that engulfs me while painting.
I am Herzfarbenrausch, a queer artist, and for me, art is the expression of inner freedom and identity. My works are deeply rooted in the LGBTQ+ community and strongly inspired by the culture of kink and fetish, which for me represents a unique aesthetic and symbolic language. Characterized by vivid colors and often body-focused, expressive motifs, my work connects emotions with a visual language that invites contemplation, feeling, and discovery.
Words are not my strength, but I love to observe the world and capture it in my art. For me, gender, origin, or sexual orientation are not what matters – it is the feeling of love that connects us all.
I have been painting since I was a child as a way to process my thoughts and dreams. Over time, it became my language, helping me discover and embrace my own identity. This artistic journey has taught me that every brushstroke is a reflection of my innermost self and that my works reveal the world as I see and feel it.
I find inspiration for my work in the small, often unnoticed moments of everyday life. These special glimpses are transformed into vibrant colors and expressive shapes, reflecting my passion and dedication. My creative process is a blend of spontaneous intuition and deep reflection.
Art, for me, is a way to express my deepest feelings and thoughts, ones I cannot articulate in words. It is a dialogue with the world and an invitation to share my perspective with others. I am deeply touched when my works inspire, provoke thought, or open new perspectives for people. This connection with my audience gives me the strength and motivation to continue exploring creative boundaries.
At the heart of my practice is acrylic painting. Through intense color combinations, layering techniques, and symbolic elements, I create pieces that oscillate between taboo and beauty. My works consciously push societal and artistic boundaries, challenging traditional notions of gender, identity, and physical freedom, while giving queer and fetish aesthetics a central role in modern art.
Nowadays, digital art is also a valuable tool that enriches my creative process. I use digital techniques to develop new ideas, experiment with color worlds, or transform existing works. Nevertheless, the tactile nature of acrylic painting – working directly with color and texture – remains the cornerstone of my craft.
I invite you to discover my world of colors and emotions. Whether through visiting my exhibitions or engaging in direct conversation – I am thrilled to share my art with you. Through my work, I aim to build bridges, foster dialogue, and make the world a little more colorful and open.
My works are an invitation to embrace unconventional perspectives and celebrate the diversity of human experiences and identities. They reflect freedom, self-determination, and the infinite facets of humanity. My art is a rush of colors that touches the heart and inspires the soul.
