Photo round-up of Tallinn Bearty 2017
What a splenddid weekend of pure feeling of brotherhood, love and joy that was. Plenty of photos taken, videos shot, memories shared but here's our official selection. Feel free to share with the world and add one or few lines about your own experiences while you are on it. We thank you, again and again!
See you next year, Tallinn Bearty 2018 KINO - dedicated to bearculture and cinematography - April 19-22, first time from Thursday till Sunday!
Our gratitude for all those wonderful photos goes to our friend and talented artist Petri Tuohimaa.
Here's what Petri had to say about Tallinn Bearty and his works "It was my first time so I can't make comparisons to previous years. Still, I was surprised to see brotherhood or some sort or camaraderie among the quests. The size of the event makes that possible but I still was surprised how well people connected. The way I get such photos, you ask? It's a mixture of skills, being able to see things before they happen, and pure luck. You need to live the moment yourself."
"I shoot portraits every now and then, and landscapes. Graphic design wise I do mostly commercial work, but I've done a lot of work in the gay community for the past 10 years - design for drag queens, bear events, gay bars and nightclubs. This environment has always given me more artistic freedom compared to other commercial work." says Petri.
In case any of you wish to inquire , maybe ask directly about collaborating, feel free to let us know - we'd be happy to recommend Petri to you.
Tallinn Bearty (TB) has set its course on bringing fresh breeze every time we organize or promote something. Every year sees us put focus on one top arts category: visual arts, music or cinematography. Our aim is to power bear brotherhood in a way that will advance equal rights for everyone, in or out of our own community.
